Alabama supports a veteran community of roughly 300,000, with deep military roots that run through the state. Fort Rucker — restored to its original name in 2025 — anchors Army aviation training near Dothan, while Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery houses Air University and Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville hosts the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command. Montgomery, the state capital, sits between those installations.
Free vehicle pickup is available across Alabama — from Birmingham and Huntsville south through Montgomery and Auburn to Mobile and the Gulf Coast. Alabama vehicle title transfers go through the state's Motor Vehicle Division at the Alabama Department of Revenue. After we pick up your vehicle, you'll follow Alabama's standard notice-of-transfer process to release liability — the specifics depend on your county tag office, and we'll point you to the right step at scheduling.
