From Hartford and New Haven to Stamford and the shoreline, Salute Veterans Inc. accepts any titled vehicle from Connecticut residents — running or not — with free statewide pickup.
Connecticut is home to approximately 130,000 veterans. Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton — the Navy's primary East Coast submarine homeport — is the state's largest active-duty installation, sharing the lower Thames River area with the U.S. Coast Guard Academy across the river in New London. Hartford is the state capital.
Free vehicle pickup covers all of Connecticut — from Hartford and New Haven along I-91 down to the shoreline communities, west across to Stamford and the New York border, and northeast through the Quiet Corner. VeteransDonations.org accepts cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, and personal watercraft. Whether the vehicle is in a Greenwich garage or sitting at a Long Island Sound marina, we arrange transport at no cost.
Connecticut vehicle title transfers run through the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles. After pickup, you'll follow the state's standard transfer-of-ownership process to release liability — the CT DMV provides the relevant forms and we'll guide you to them at scheduling. The donation is tax-deductible to Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. To start, call 1-888-324-2772 or use the donation form on this page.
Free pickup · Tax receipt · Supports veterans
Connecticut donations trend toward the state's established collector base — classic and antique cars from Fairfield and Litchfield County garages, boats from the Long Island Sound shoreline and Connecticut River, and motorcycles from riders across the state. Pickups, RVs, and older campers come through in steady volume, along with utility trailers, dump trucks, and smaller commercial vehicles from local operations. Free statewide pickup is coordinated for titled vehicles running or not, with every donation tax-deductible to Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
We accept more than cars. Choose a vehicle type below to learn more and start your donation.
