From Wilmington and Dover to Rehoboth Beach and the southern shore, Salute Veterans Inc. accepts any titled vehicle from Delaware residents — running or not — with free statewide pickup.
Delaware has approximately 60,000 veterans across its three counties. Dover Air Force Base — home of the 436th Airlift Wing and the largest mortuary affairs facility in the Department of Defense — is the state's major active-duty installation, located just outside Dover, the state capital.
Free vehicle pickup is available throughout Delaware — from Wilmington and the I-95 corridor down through Dover and the central Delmarva, to the beach communities along the coast at Rehoboth, Bethany, and Fenwick Island. VeteransDonations.org accepts cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, and personal watercraft. Whether the vehicle is in a New Castle County garage or stored at a Sussex County beach property, we handle the logistics at no cost.
Delaware vehicle title transfers go through the Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles. After we pick up your vehicle, you'll complete the state's standard transfer-of-ownership process to release liability — the DMV provides the appropriate form, and we'll point you to it at scheduling. The donation is tax-deductible to Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. To start, call 1-888-324-2772 or use the donation form on this page.

Delaware's compact geography makes for straightforward pickup logistics, whether from Wilmington, Dover, or Sussex County's coastal communities. Donations commonly include classic cars, pickups, motorcycles, and boats from the Atlantic beaches and Delaware Bay. Utility trailers, small dump trucks, and box trucks come from local operations; farm equipment and tractors come in from Sussex County agriculture. RVs and motorhomes round out the mix. Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, coordinates free pickup on titled vehicles across the state.
We accept more than cars. Choose a vehicle type below to learn more and start your donation.
