From Boise and Idaho Falls to Coeur d'Alene and the Panhandle, Salute Veterans Inc. accepts any titled vehicle from Idaho residents — running or not — with free statewide pickup.
Idaho is home to approximately 115,000 veterans across the state's varied terrain. Mountain Home Air Force Base southeast of Boise — home to the 366th Fighter Wing — is Idaho's primary active-duty installation, with the Idaho National Guard maintaining a substantial presence statewide. Boise is the state capital.
Free vehicle pickup is available throughout Idaho — from the Boise metro area east through Twin Falls and Idaho Falls to the Wyoming border, and north through Lewiston up to Coeur d'Alene and the Panhandle. VeteransDonations.org accepts any titled vehicle: cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, snowmobiles, side-by-sides. Whether the vehicle is parked in a Meridian driveway or sitting at a Lake Pend Oreille property, we coordinate transport at no cost.
Idaho vehicle title transfers go through the Idaho Transportation Department's DMV. After pickup, you'll follow the state's standard release-of-liability process — Idaho's online services portal allows the filing electronically in many cases, and we'll guide you to the right step at scheduling. Idaho's mix of Snake River agriculture, Panhandle forestry, and Treasure Valley commerce produces a diverse donation stream. Row-crop tractors, farm equipment, and grain trailers from the potato and dairy country, pickups and 4x4s from ranches and timber operations, boats from lakes across the state, and motorcycles from Boise and Coeur d'Alene riders are common. RVs, classic cars, semi-trucks, and box trucks add to the range. Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, coordinates free pickup on titled vehicles statewide regardless of running condition.
