From Louisville and Lexington to Bowling Green and the eastern mountains, Salute Veterans Inc. accepts any titled vehicle from Kentucky residents — running or not — with free statewide pickup.
Kentucky is home to roughly 230,000 veterans, with deep Army roots. Fort Campbell on the Kentucky-Tennessee border houses the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and 5th Special Forces Group, while Fort Knox south of Louisville hosts the Army Human Resources Command and U.S. Army Cadet Command. Frankfort serves as the state capital, between Louisville and Lexington.
Free vehicle pickup is available throughout Kentucky — from Louisville and Lexington east into the Appalachian region, south through Bowling Green to the Tennessee border, and west to Paducah and the Land Between the Lakes. VeteransDonations.org accepts any titled vehicle: cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, jet skis, ATVs. Whether the vehicle is in a Louisville suburb or sitting on Eastern Kentucky property, we handle the logistics at no cost.
Kentucky vehicle title transfers go through the Kentucky Department of Vehicle Regulation, with processing typically handled at the county clerk's office. After pickup, you'll follow Kentucky's standard transfer-of-ownership process to release liability, and we'll guide you to the appropriate filing at scheduling. The donation is tax-deductible to Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. To start, call 1-888-324-2772 or use the donation form on this page.

Kentucky's mix of horse country, bourbon distilling, and Appalachian foothills produces a distinctive donation range. Horse trailers and utility trailers from the Bluegrass, tractors and farm equipment from tobacco and cattle operations, pickups from across the state, and classic Corvettes and muscle cars from Bowling Green collectors are all common. Motorcycles, boats from Lake Cumberland and other reservoirs, and semi-trucks from freight corridors round out the mix. Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, coordinates free pickup statewide on titled vehicles.
We accept more than cars. Choose a vehicle type below to learn more and start your donation.
