From Las Vegas and Reno to Carson City and the Great Basin, Salute Veterans Inc. accepts any titled vehicle from Nevada residents — running or not — with free statewide pickup.
Nevada is home to approximately 200,000 veterans. Nellis Air Force Base on the northern edge of Las Vegas hosts the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center and the Nellis Test and Training Range — one of the largest training airspaces in the world — while Naval Air Station Fallon east of Reno is the home of TOPGUN, the Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor program. Carson City is the state capital.
Free vehicle pickup is available throughout Nevada — from Las Vegas and Henderson north through Pahrump and the Great Basin to Reno and Carson City, and out to the rural counties along U.S. 50. VeteransDonations.org accepts any titled vehicle: cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, ATVs, side-by-sides. Whether the vehicle is parked in a Summerlin driveway or sitting at a Lake Tahoe property, we coordinate transport at no cost.
Nevada vehicle title transfers go through the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles. After pickup, you'll follow the state's standard release-of-liability process — Nevada's MyDMV online portal handles the filing electronically, and we'll point you to it at scheduling. Nevada's dry desert climate has preserved classic cars, muscle cars, and pickups for decades — many come through the donation stream from Las Vegas, Reno, and rural corners of the state. Add snowbird RVs and motorhomes, motorcycles cruising desert highways, boats from Lake Mead and Lake Tahoe, and semi-trucks from I-15 and I-80 freight corridors, and the range is broad. Aircraft from the state's general aviation fleet come in occasionally. Every donation is tax-deductible to Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, with free statewide pickup.
