New Mexico has approximately 130,000 veterans, anchored by a notably broad set of installations. Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque supports the Air Force Materiel Command and shares space with Sandia National Laboratories, while Holloman AFB in the south handles F-16 and MQ-9 training, and Cannon AFB near Clovis hosts Air Force Special Operations Command's 27th Special Operations Wing. White Sands Missile Range covers vast stretches of the south-central desert. Santa Fe is the state capital.
Free vehicle pickup is available across New Mexico — from Albuquerque north through Santa Fe and Taos, south to Las Cruces and El Paso's border region, east to Roswell and Carlsbad, and west to Gallup and the Four Corners. VeteransDonations.org accepts any titled vehicle: cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, side-by-sides. Whether the vehicle is parked in an ABQ driveway or sitting at a high-desert property, we arrange the right transport at no cost.
New Mexico vehicle title transfers go through the New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division (MVD), part of the Taxation and Revenue Department. After pickup, you'll follow the state's standard transfer-of-ownership process to release liability, and we'll point you to the appropriate filing at scheduling. New Mexico's high desert climate preserves classic cars and antique pickups better than most states, and the donation stream reflects it — Route 66 heritage vehicles from Albuquerque and the historic corridor, muscle cars from Santa Fe collectors, and pickups from every corner of the state. RVs and motorhomes from snowbirds and full-time travelers, motorcycles, boats from lakes and reservoirs, and small aircraft from general aviation airports come in as well.
