From Charlotte and Raleigh to Fayetteville and the Outer Banks, Salute Veterans Inc. accepts any titled vehicle from North Carolina residents — running or not — with free statewide pickup.
North Carolina supports a veteran community of roughly 615,000 — one of the highest concentrations in the country. Fort Bragg in Fayetteville — restored to its original name in early 2025 — is home to the 82nd Airborne Division, U.S. Army Special Operations Command, and the Joint Special Operations Command. Camp Lejeune on the coast houses the II Marine Expeditionary Force, while Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base anchor additional service-branch operations. Raleigh is the state capital.
Free vehicle pickup is available throughout North Carolina — from Charlotte and the Piedmont through the Triad and the Triangle, east to Fayetteville and along the coast to Wilmington and the Outer Banks, and west into the Smoky Mountains. VeteransDonations.org accepts any titled vehicle: cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, jet skis. Whether the vehicle is parked in a Charlotte driveway or sitting at an Outer Banks cottage, we arrange the right transport at no cost.
North Carolina vehicle title transfers go through the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles, part of the Department of Transportation. After pickup, you'll follow the state's standard transfer-of-ownership process to release liability — the DMV provides the appropriate form and we'll guide you to the right step at scheduling. The donation is tax-deductible to Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. To start, call 1-888-324-2772 or use the donation form on this page.

North Carolina's mix of Piedmont, coast, and mountains produces a diverse donation range. NASCAR-heritage classic cars, muscle cars, and pickups from Charlotte, Concord, and Winston-Salem; boats from the Outer Banks and Wilmington coast; motorcycles from Blue Ridge riders; and tractors and farm equipment from tobacco and hog country are all common. Semi-trucks come in from I-95, I-85, and I-40 freight corridors; RVs from full-time and part-time travelers add to the mix. Every donation is tax-deductible to Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3); free statewide pickup.
