From Fargo and Grand Forks to Bismarck and the western Badlands, Salute Veterans Inc. accepts any titled vehicle from North Dakota residents — running or not — with free statewide pickup.
North Dakota has approximately 42,000 veterans across the state. Minot Air Force Base in the north-central plains is one of the most strategically important installations in the country, housing both B-52 Stratofortress bombers and the 91st Missile Wing's Minuteman III ICBMs. Grand Forks Air Force Base anchors aerial refueling and unmanned aircraft operations near the Red River. Bismarck is the state capital.
Free vehicle pickup is available throughout North Dakota — from Fargo and the Red River Valley west through Grand Forks and Devils Lake to Minot and Williston, and south through Bismarck and Dickinson to the Badlands. VeteransDonations.org accepts any titled vehicle: cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, snowmobiles, ATVs. Whether the vehicle is parked in a Fargo driveway or sitting on a ranch in the western part of the state, we coordinate transport at no cost.
North Dakota vehicle title transfers go through the North Dakota Department of Transportation's Motor Vehicle Division. After pickup, you'll follow the state's standard transfer-of-ownership process to release liability — the MVD provides the appropriate form and we'll point you to it at scheduling. North Dakota donations reflect the state's agriculture and Bakken-era commercial character. Tractors, combines, farm equipment, and utility trailers from grain and cattle operations; heavy-duty pickups and 4x4s from oil field country; and 18-wheel tractor-trailers, semi-trucks, and box trucks running the I-94 and I-29 freight corridors all come through. Classic cars, motorcycles, boats, and RVs from Fargo, Bismarck, and Grand Forks round out the mix. Free pickup is coordinated statewide, including remote farm and ranch locations.
