Pennsylvania is home to roughly 630,000 veterans — one of the largest veteran populations in the country. Carlisle Barracks south of Harrisburg is the home of the U.S. Army War College, while Tobyhanna Army Depot in the Poconos is the Department of Defense's largest electronics maintenance facility. Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg anchors Navy logistics operations near Harrisburg, the state capital.
Free vehicle pickup is available across Pennsylvania — from Philadelphia and the suburbs west through Lancaster and Harrisburg to Pittsburgh, north through Scranton and the Poconos to the Endless Mountains, and south to the Mason-Dixon line. VeteransDonations.org accepts any titled vehicle: cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, jet skis, ATVs. Whether the vehicle is parked in a Main Line driveway or sitting at a Pocono cabin, we coordinate the right transport at no cost.
Pennsylvania vehicle title transfers go through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). After pickup, you'll follow the state's standard transfer-of-ownership process to release liability — PennDOT requires specific paperwork, and we'll guide you to the appropriate filing at scheduling. Pennsylvania's collector car heritage — anchored by Hershey and Carlisle — brings a heavy stream of classic and antique donations, from muscle cars and pre-war classics through vintage pickups and street rods. Add semi-trucks and 18-wheel tractor-trailers from I-80, I-76, and I-78 freight corridors, tractors and farm equipment from PA Dutch country, and motorcycles, boats, and RVs from riders and outdoor enthusiasts, and the range is comprehensive.
