From Providence and Warwick to Newport and the South County beaches, Salute Veterans Inc. accepts any titled vehicle from Rhode Island residents — running or not — with free statewide pickup.
Rhode Island has approximately 45,000 veterans. Naval Station Newport — home of the Naval War College and several Navy schools — is the state's largest active-duty installation, and one of the Navy's primary education and research centers. Providence is the state capital.
Free vehicle pickup is available throughout Rhode Island — from Providence and Pawtucket south through Warwick and Cranston to South County and the Westerly beaches, and east across Narragansett Bay to Newport and the East Bay communities. VeteransDonations.org accepts any titled vehicle: cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, jet skis. Whether the vehicle is parked in a Providence driveway or sitting at a Block Island ferry slip, we arrange the right transport at no cost.
Rhode Island vehicle title transfers go through the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles. After pickup, you'll follow the state's standard transfer-of-ownership process to release liability — the DMV provides the appropriate form and we'll guide you to it at scheduling. The donation is tax-deductible to Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. To start, call 1-888-324-2772 or use the donation form on this page.
Free pickup · Tax receipt · Supports veterans
Rhode Island's compact geography and coastal character shape a distinctive donation mix. Boats from Narragansett Bay and the Newport shoreline, classic and antique cars from Newport and Providence collectors, and motorcycles from riders across the state are all common. Pickups, RVs, and utility trailers come through in steady volume, along with dump trucks and box trucks from local commercial operations. Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, coordinates free pickup from Providence to Westerly, running or not.
We accept more than cars. Choose a vehicle type below to learn more and start your donation.
