From Burlington and Montpelier to Brattleboro and the Northeast Kingdom, Salute Veterans Inc. accepts any titled vehicle from Vermont residents — running or not — with free statewide pickup.
Vermont has approximately 33,000 veterans across the state. The Vermont Air National Guard, based at Burlington International Airport, became the first ANG wing to receive the F-35 Lightning II — its 158th Fighter Wing now flies fifth-generation fighters from the same Lake Champlain runway used by commercial passengers. Montpelier, the smallest state capital in the country, sits in central Vermont.
Free vehicle pickup is available throughout Vermont — from Burlington and the Champlain Valley east through Montpelier to St. Johnsbury and the Northeast Kingdom, and south through Rutland and Brattleboro to the Massachusetts border. VeteransDonations.org accepts any titled vehicle: cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, snowmobiles. Whether the vehicle is parked in a Burlington driveway or sitting at a remote camp in the Green Mountains, we arrange the right transport at no cost.
Vermont vehicle title transfers go through the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles. After pickup, you'll follow the state's standard transfer-of-ownership process to release liability — the DMV provides the appropriate form and we'll point you to it at scheduling. The donation is tax-deductible to Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. To start, call 1-888-324-2772 or use the donation form on this page.

Vermont donations often mean dairy and rural — hay equipment, tractors, and cattle trailers from dairy operations across the state, pickups and 4x4s from every county, and older classic cars from Vermont barn finds. Motorcycles from riders along Route 100 and the White Mountains, boats from Lake Champlain, and RVs from Burlington and central Vermont donors are common. Local Vermont operations contribute dump trucks and box trucks. Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, coordinates free pickup statewide on titled vehicles running or not.
