From Northern Virginia and Richmond to Norfolk and Virginia Beach, Salute Veterans Inc. accepts any titled vehicle from Virginia residents — running or not — with free statewide pickup.
Virginia has approximately 630,000 veterans — one of the densest concentrations of veterans and active-duty military in the country. Naval Station Norfolk is the largest naval base in the world, anchoring a Hampton Roads region that also includes Naval Air Station Oceana, Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Story, and Joint Base Langley-Eustis. Marine Corps Base Quantico and Fort Belvoir support the National Capital Region, and the Pentagon sits in Arlington. Fort Lee, Fort Pickett, and Fort A.P. Hill — all restored to their original names in 2025 — round out the state's Army presence. Richmond is the state capital.
Free vehicle pickup is available throughout Virginia — from the Northern Virginia suburbs and the Shenandoah Valley through Richmond and Charlottesville, east to Hampton Roads and the Eastern Shore, and southwest into the Blue Ridge and Southwest Virginia. VeteransDonations.org accepts any titled vehicle: cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, jet skis. Whether the vehicle is parked in a Fairfax driveway or sitting at a Virginia Beach marina, we coordinate the right transport at no cost.
Virginia vehicle title transfers go through the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles. After pickup, you'll follow the state's standard transfer-of-ownership process to release liability — the DMV provides the appropriate form and we'll point you to it at scheduling. The donation is tax-deductible to Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. To start, call 1-888-324-2772 or use the donation form on this page.

Virginia donations span the state's diverse regions. Boats from the Chesapeake Bay and Tidewater; classic cars from hunt country garages and Richmond collectors; pickups and 4x4s from Shenandoah Valley and Southwest Virginia; and hay equipment, tractors, and stock trailers from Piedmont and Southside agriculture are all common. Semi-trucks come in from I-95, I-64, and I-81 freight corridors; motorcycles, RVs, and dump trucks from local commercial operations round out the range. Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; free pickup coordinated across all Virginia counties.
