Washington supports a veteran community of approximately 475,000. Joint Base Lewis-McChord south of Tacoma combines the Army's I Corps and the Air Force's 62nd Airlift Wing into one of the largest military installations on the West Coast, while Naval Base Kitsap in Bremerton homeports submarines and aircraft carriers, and Naval Air Station Whidbey Island handles the Navy's EA-18G Growler operations. Fairchild AFB anchors Eastern Washington. Olympia is the state capital.
Free vehicle pickup is available throughout Washington — from the Seattle metro and Puget Sound region south through Olympia to Vancouver and the Columbia River, east across the Cascades to Yakima and Spokane, and west to the Olympic Peninsula and the Pacific Coast. VeteransDonations.org accepts any titled vehicle: cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, jet skis. Whether the vehicle is parked in a Bellevue driveway or sitting at a San Juan Islands dock, we handle the right transport at no cost.
Washington vehicle title transfers go through the Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL). After pickup, you'll follow the state's standard report-of-sale process to release liability — Washington's online services portal allows the filing electronically, and we'll point you to it at scheduling. Washington State donations reflect the state's Pacific Northwest character. Pickups and 4x4s from timber country and eastern Washington ranching, boats from Puget Sound between Seattle and Tacoma, and aircraft from the state's aerospace heritage and general aviation fleet all come through. Add tractors and farm equipment from Yakima Valley agriculture, semi-trucks from I-5 freight corridors, motorcycles, RVs, and classic cars from Seattle and Spokane collectors, and the range is comprehensive.
