From Charleston and Huntington to Morgantown and the Eastern Panhandle, Salute Veterans Inc. accepts any titled vehicle from West Virginia residents — running or not — with free statewide pickup.
West Virginia has approximately 105,000 veterans across the state. The West Virginia National Guard maintains a significant presence statewide, with Camp Dawson near Kingwood serving as a primary training facility for the Guard and for joint operations. Charleston, the state capital, sits along the Kanawha River in the south-central part of the state.
Free vehicle pickup is available throughout West Virginia — from Charleston and the Kanawha Valley west to Huntington and the Ohio River, north through Parkersburg and Morgantown to the Pennsylvania border, and east into the Eastern Panhandle and the Shenandoah Valley. VeteransDonations.org accepts any titled vehicle: cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, ATVs, side-by-sides. Whether the vehicle is parked in a Morgantown driveway or sitting on rural property in the mountains, we arrange the right transport at no cost.
West Virginia vehicle title transfers go through the West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles. After pickup, you'll follow the state's standard transfer-of-ownership process to release liability — the WV DMV provides the appropriate form and we'll guide you to it at scheduling. The donation is tax-deductible to Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. To start, call 1-888-324-2772 or use the donation form on this page.
Free pickup · Tax receipt · Supports veterans
West Virginia donations often come from mountain and coal country — pickups and heavy-duty 4x4s built for rugged terrain, tractors and utility trailers from small farm operations, and older classic cars from Appalachian collectors and barn finds. Motorcycles from riders along mountain routes, RVs, small commercial vehicles, and semi-trucks from I-79, I-77, and I-64 freight corridors round out the mix. Free pickup runs from the Eastern Panhandle through Charleston and Huntington to the southern counties. Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
