Wisconsin is home to approximately 290,000 veterans across the state. Fort McCoy in the Monroe County area serves as the Army's primary total force training center in the upper Midwest, while the Wisconsin National Guard maintains a substantial presence statewide. Madison is the state capital, between Milwaukee and the Mississippi River.
Free vehicle pickup is available throughout Wisconsin — from Milwaukee and the southeastern lakeshore west through Madison, north through the Fox Valley to Green Bay, and into the Northwoods and across to Superior. VeteransDonations.org accepts any titled vehicle: cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, jet skis, snowmobiles, ATVs — practical given Wisconsin's lake culture and four-season recreation. Whether the vehicle is parked in a Brookfield driveway or sitting at a Northwoods cabin, we coordinate the right transport at no cost.
Wisconsin vehicle title transfers go through the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's Division of Motor Vehicles. After pickup, you'll follow the state's standard sold-notice process to release liability — Wisconsin's eMV portal handles much of the filing electronically, and we'll point you to it at scheduling.
